Strange interlopers

Nancy just sent us this ridiculously charming little update about life on Lewis Waite Farm (where the extras are from):

It is odd enough that the beautiful peacock showed up here at the farm a while ago and is still here roosting here and there and often eating with the pigs, but now we have a new visitor to the farm – a pot bellied pig! Yesterday, the little pig, half the height of our herd, was walking up the dirt road toward the farm near our neighbor’s house. Later that day he was seen by our barn where the pigs sleep. This morning he was in the barn munching from the bucket of the drop apples Ashleigh had picked up from the lawn, so Alan put him in a box stall until we could try to find out where he came from. Never a dull moment!
